Whew! I’ve had “fashion block” for a while now (you know… like writer’s block?) so please forgive me for not keeping up my blogger duties!!! I absolutely forced myself to dedicate some time tonight to creating some new content.(Been busy trying to graduate, heyyyyyy!)
If you’re following me on Instagram, you may notice that my blog content tends to come long after I actually created the outfit, this post being a prime example. But this was a great outfit regardless and deserves a little more spotlight!
I found this pleather skirt in Santee Alley for a sale price of $8, what a deal. I’m a little late on the pleather/leather skirt trend however for $8, I couldn’t pass it up. I styled this skirt using what I call my “grandma” shirt from Forever 21… I swear my grandma had this same shirt once upon a time… I think your grandma did too. I love the contrast of the pastel and delicate texture of the shirt, with the flowy leather look of the skirt.
On my feet, are some rocking Jeffrey Campbell Lita’s… in metallic silver! These babies are absolute show stoppers wherever I go. The way they reflect the sun and earth is just beautiful, not to mention they are super lightweight and easy to walk in.
All of my accessories are found at various places like sample sales, jewelry boutiques and the Icing. Love that my mood ring gives a pop of cobalt blue. I guess I was feeling pretty good! My skinny belt is by Big Buddha and really ties the whole outfit together with its chrome clasp.
